They are now able to offer a tremendous career opportunity for an experienced front end construction lawyer or a commercial lawyer who is keen to focus & further develop their profile in Building/Construction matters. About the role Working closely with highly experienced Partner(s)/colleagues (some who are top tier trained) you will have the autonomy to manage your own files typically for high quality clients eg. construction corporations; developers; contractors, (including both private and public) and work collaboratively as part of a team on the larger, more complex matters. Focusing on Building and Construction matters (front end) our client is open to considering candidates at 4 plus years' post admission with solid experience in construction law would be ideal, though experience in a commercial team with strong drafting abilities would be highly regarded. Candidates with a broader background in commercial law with a genuine interest in focusing on building and construction are also encouraged to apply. About you Ideally, desired candidates will have:- 4 plus years' experience with an unrestricted Practising Certificate Ideally be working as a front-end lawyer in a construction or projects team either in private practice or in-house - would also consider a commercial lawyer with experience in drafting commercial agreements with an interest in construction law Have excellent technical legal ability and drafting skills Ability to manage smaller matters (with guidance of a Partner) and play a key role on larger, more complex files. Strong drive, initiative and ability to effectively manage competing priorities; Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills; Ability to contribute experience & guidance to those less experienced within the team.
