Inspire and academically instruct students in Visual Arts, reflecting the ethos of our School and nurturing each student's talents and abilities. 2. Support the pastoral care of students and implement our Positive Education Framework. 3. Serve as a committed Form Teacher (Years 7-12), supporting and role modeling the School’s Academic and Pastoral Charters. What You'll Do: 1. Create a positive, well-managed classroom environment that promotes respect, creativity, and good manners. 2. Regularly monitor and provide feedback on students’ progress, maintaining accurate records of attendance, results, and achievements. 3. Model fundamental values such as punctuality, dress, deportment, manner, and mutual respect. 4. Utilize engaging teaching practices to maximize student involvement, success, and self-esteem. 5. Support the School’s tutorial and Positive Education programs. Collaborate with Our Amazing Staff: 1. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, assemblies, and professional development activities. 2. Foster positive, constructive relationships with fellow staff members and the School community. Shape Our Curriculum: 1. Develop and implement innovative Visual Arts programs that align with curriculum standards. 2. Provide timely assessment and feedback to students, ensuring their artistic growth and success. 3. Support and participate in the School’s co-curricular programs, enriching students' overall development. Engage with Our Community: 1. Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and achievements. 2. Supervise and organize classroom assistance from teacher aides and parents. 3. Attend School functions and represent our School’s ethos positively to the community. 4. Complete rostered grounds duties and supervision lessons reliably. Maintain Our Facilities: 1. Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of classrooms and surrounding areas. 2. Assist with maintaining and retrieving school resources as needed. Key Capabilities: 1. Hold a relevant teaching qualification and be eligible for QCT registration. 2. Demonstrated ability to teach Visual Arts to senior secondary school students. 3. Develop, plan, and deliver effective, high-quality learning experiences. 4. Adapt teaching methods to cater to various learning styles and student needs. 5. Inspire students through a passion for Visual Arts and a belief in their potential. 6. Proficient with digital technologies and supportive of digital integration. 7. Demonstrated competence in classroom management. 8. Committed to the aims and ethos of Independent Schools, and willing to participate in the co-curricular and pastoral life of the School.
