Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions Australia is seeking a Logistics and Warehouse Manager to join our team based at Northgate, Qld 4013. The Logistics and Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods. This includes managing service level agreements and monitoring performance metrics to ensure compliance with established standards. In addition, the Logistics and Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, including inventory control, stock management, and order fulfillment processes. This includes implementing warehouse management systems and procedures to optimise space utilisation, inventory accuracy, and productivity. The role also involves managing warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve warehouse processes and address operational challenges. Be responsible to ensure the reliable usage of transport and proper and safe handling of all Veolia WTS products at our Veolia warehouse & Third-party warehouses. Have a broad insight into the local/International logistics (Import/export). Lead and coach the development of a small warehouse team. Manages logistics performance by addressing daily issues and adjusts operations to meet changing demands. Monitor operations to ensure compliance with Veolia WTS policies, procedures, government regulations for the handling of dangerous goods Provide effective solutions and align strategies to drive reduced cost and improved service Collaboration with appropriate departments to reduce obstacles to meeting the OTD. What you'll need to be successful Effective problem-solving techniques Effective time management skills A Hands on approach Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills, e.g. facilitating team meetings and engaging groups to achieve outcomes Deliver high quality, timely, consistent service delivery for the broader business Proactively always represent the Company Valid LF Forklift licence The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics and warehouse management, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer service. The candidate should have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to lead and develop teams, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and stay updated with industry trends and best practices is essential for success in this role.
