Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions Australia is seeking a Logistics and Warehouse Manager to join our team based at Northgate, Qld 4013. The Logistics and Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods. This includes managing service level agreements and monitoring performance metrics to ensure compliance with established standards. In addition, the Logistics and Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, including inventory control, stock management, and order fulfillment processes. This includes implementing warehouse management systems and procedures to optimise space utilisation, inventory accuracy, and productivity. The role also involves managing warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve warehouse processes and address operational challenges. Be responsible to ensure the reliable usage of transport and proper and safe handling of all Veolia WTS products at our Veolia warehouse & Third-party warehouses. Have a broad insight into the local/International logistics (Import/export). Lead and coach the development of a small warehouse team. Manages logistics performance by addressing daily issues and adjusts operations to meet changing demands. Monitor operations to ensure compliance with Veolia WTS policies, procedures, government regulations for the handling of dangerous goods Provide effective solutions and align strategies to drive reduced cost and improved service Collaboration with appropriate departments to reduce obstacles to meeting the OTD.
