About the Role We are looking for passionate Disability Support Workers to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals in Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation. You will have the opportunity to work within a supportive team environment while also having the autonomy to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our participants. Responsibilities include assisting with personal health, fostering social connections, developing domestic skills and maintaining documentation. About the Participant We are seeking a compassionate and experienced carer to join our team and provide dedicated support to our Participant, a wonderful individual diagnosed with Autism Level 3, ADHD, and a severe intellectual disability. Participant is easy-going, fun-loving, and enjoys engaging in various activities. We are looking for a candidate with living or past experience in a similar role, particularly with individuals who share Participant's unique characteristics. The support worker needs to be actively engaged with this participant whilst supporting his individual choices and control. This participant is quite active and enjoys being outside or going for walks in the neighbourhood or local parks. Our Participant is supported by a very engaged Allied Team that meet monthly to review how to best support the client and the carers.
