Warehouse Leading Hand — Knoxfield, Knox Area

We are seeking a dynamic Warehouse Leading Hand to join one of Australia's most well-known brands. Based in Knoxfield this permanent full time opportunity will require the successful candidate to have a diverse skill set, involving learning various aspects of warehouse operations, including assisting the Dispatch Coordinator and Inventory Controller, and providing leadership within the team. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to understand and execute daily operational plans; Handle pick pack, processing, and inventory duties within the warehouse; Work with the Dispatch Coordinator to ensure smooth daily operations and provide leadership to team members; Report and update all OHS-related topics to the Warehouse Manager and maintain records; Assist in investigating and resolving any identified hazards, risks, and OH&S issues; Coordinate with the Inventory Controller on inventory-related matters; Liaise daily with clients, suppliers, transport companies, and key business stakeholders; Assist senior management and key stakeholders with additional requests; Train, mentor, and support new and existing staff; Be accountable and collaborate with all departments to deliver the Supply Chain Operating Plan; Demonstrate strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite and effective written communication. Qualifications: Previous warehouse leading hand/supervisor experience; Problem solving and solution driven; Current LF forklift licence; Strong computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Suite; Effective written and verbal communication skills.
