We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Arabic Speaking Disability Support Worker to join our team in South West Sydney. Position Overview: As an Arabic Speaking Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities. Your ability to communicate effectively in Arabic and understand cultural nuances will enable you to deliver personalised care that meets the unique needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Implement individual care plans and support clients in achieving their personal goals. Assist with medication administration and monitor clients' health and wellbeing. Encourage and support clients to participate in community activities and social events. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and incidents. Follow organisational policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients. Qualifications and Experience: Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related field. At least 6 month paid experience as a disability support worker. Proficiency in Arabic (both written and spoken) is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of cultural sensitivities and ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds. Current First Aid and CPR certification.
