Various Positions Halls Head College (HHC) are seeking to appoint two dedicated and enthusiastic English Teachers. Graduate teachers are encouraged to apply for this position. We currently have the following positions available: 2 x - permanent full-time positions: 1 x permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2024 1 x permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 About the Role: The successful applicant will ideally be a teacher who can utilise highly effective teaching practices and has a willingness to seek constant improvement in their own practice. They should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be student and relationship focused, innovative and motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Additionally, we seek teachers who possess the ability to effectively implement the College's Positive Behaviour Schools' (PBS) Behaviour Matrix and Behaviour Management flowchart. Adopting inclusive practices, building positive relationships with students, staff and the community are important components of the role. You should be committed to developing curiosity, innovation, and imagination in every person through inspiring minds and learning for life. An excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and a capacity to deliver content in an engaging manner to instil our students with a passion studying the English curriculum is highly sought after. The initiative to work well with your colleagues to develop teaching strategies and approaches to ensure each student can reach their maximum potential should be addressed in your application. About Our School HHC is uniquely situated on the 'island' of Halls Head just south of Mandurah. The local intake area of HHC is south, close to the Waroona Shire boundary. The contributory primary schools are Glencoe, Halls Head, Falcon, South Halls Head and Ocean Road. The College provides a secondary education for students who live in the rapidly growing coastal strip, south of Mandurah.
