48062 Experience Designer 12-month Max Term role (Mat Leave cover) Barangaroo, hybrid work arrangement Dynamic and supportive Team How will I help? As an Experience Designer you are a competent craft person who can work as a part of a cross functional team or independently to drive small/discreet design deliverables. You will tend to focus more on delivery exploration, testing and detailed design. You will work to an existing strategy or roadmap with the support of a Senior, Principal or Design Lead. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Mentorship: Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge, design skills, and context to enhance their skills. Problem Solving: Collaborate with cross-functional squads to identify customer-aligned opportunities and conceptualize solutions for delivery. Active Participation: Contribute actively in workshops and co-design sessions to support ideation and define future directions. Storytelling Skills: Develop storytelling abilities to communicate design rationale during problem-solving and cross-functional refinement. Ownership and Collaboration: Make discreet design decisions while sharing work for feedback and ensuring consistent quality outcomes. Research Collaboration: Work with research and data teams to inform research briefs and gain actionable insights using various methodologies. Support Senior Designers: Assist senior designers with research recruitment, testing sessions, and analysis. Process Improvement: Inform design workflows and process enhancements to create design deliverables and documentation. Design Systems Collaboration: Actively engage with the design systems team to improve component libraries and workflows. What's in it for me? Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the digital product design field Experience working within cross-functional squads. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
