Bis is currently looking to hire a skilled Electrician with working on underground mining equipment to work at our Tomago, NSW workshop facility Bis is currently accepting applications from suitably skilled Experienced Electricians. These roles are on a 4/3 Roster working a minimum of 38 ordinary hours per week, based at our Tomago Workshop in NSW. Bis are offering $49.68 per hour with a $4.50 retention bonus paid for every ordinary hour worked (38 hours) Overtime is paid as follows (time and half for the first 3 hours and then double time every hour thereafter). The successful candidate will be performing electrical repairs and maintenance across a variety of underground mobile plant. Requirements for this role include: Experience in a heavy industry plant and mine site operations. Proven experience in operating and/or maintaining materials handling equipment. Efficient in fault finding. Efficient in reading and modifying schematics. Efficient in basic programming or parameter change on electrical components. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with a high level of competence in general computer skills. Good communication skills. Flexible, creative, and able to adapt to a multi-skilled environment. Sound knowledge on AS3000. Understanding of Acts, Legislation and Standards Applicable to Electrical Work. The successful applicant will possess: Current NSW Qualified Supervisors Electrical License or NSW Electrical Contractors License EEHA Qualification AS3800 Qualification - Desirable Current driver’s license.
