Forklift Driver wanted for Australian owned chemical manufacturing company based in Epping who trade in oils, fuels & refined oils - Perm - $33 p/hr Forklift Driver Permanent position 6am / 7am start time (flex) plus overtime available $33 p/hr plus overtime Epping location The Company This is an excellent opportunity for you to join one of Australia’s most successful chemical manufacturing trading companies based in Epping. Our client trades in a range of base oils, fuels, gasses, packaged chemicals and refined oil products on an international level, and their site involves machine operation, production fill lines, storage and blending & batching. Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to: Forklift driving - counterbalance (high reach a bonus) Storing and maintaining stock / inventory Loading and unloading Preparation of orders, pick packing, and despatching Maintain tidy work areas / ensure equipment is safe and any maintenance is identified and reported immediately Required to lift up to 25kg at times To be considered for this role you will possess the following: Previous experience in a DG / Chemical manufacturing environment - beneficial not mandatory Strong computer and administration skills Excellent literacy and numeracy skills as you will need to follow SOPs Current LF forklift licence High safety standards and attention to detail - DG sites Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg as required Must have own hi-vis clothing and steel cap safety boots Police check and medical, that incorporates a drug and alcohol screen - will be conducted on offer of role Hours and Rate Monday to Friday 6am or 7am starts with overtime (flex start time) $33 per hour You must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa to be eligible to apply for this position.
