We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Representative looking to forge a career within the Collections space to become a Collections Officer. This newly created role is due to continued growth within the Asset Finance Collections Team that is located in their vibrant office in Parramatta. The main responsibilities of this role are: Promptly making contact with borrowers in arrears so that the best opportunities are made to reach a mutually agreed arrangement for payment of arrears. To ensure all necessary outputs are completed within required time frames in order to meet the terms of client agreements and to optimise efficiency of the department. To ensure high standards of accuracy on outgoing documentation to optimise efficiency of the department and to grow and maintain strong business reputation. To ensure policy and procedures are adhered to in relation to time frames, reconciling accounts, adjustments, charging penalty interest and fees and issuance of relevant default and property enforcement notices. Maintaining accurate records ensuring that loans are being correctly reported, arrangements are being followed up on and actions correctly recorded. To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experience: Minimum 1-2 years customer service experience, obtained within the financial services sector. Proven negotiation skills. Strong team player with a positive attitude. Drive to succeed in a busy and fast paced environment. Posses sound MS Office skills.
