Memory Block Pty Ltd Purpose of the Position: To provide and maintain a high level of graphic design, by aiming to exceed the clients’ expectations for service and delivering a quality product resulting in repeat sales. You will be expected to work closely with customers and/or sales staff to ascertain client requirements and specifications for the job and develop creative ideas to deliver the product to the client’s satisfaction. Essential Criteria: High skill level with relevant graphic design software including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom Acrobat, and the Microsoft suite. Knowledge of printing to different materials such as acrylic, paper, vinyl, wood etc. A relevant qualification at bachelor’s degree level or higher, and at least 2 years of relevant work experience. Ability to follow a written and/or verbal specification or requirements. Client focused. Have a genuine interest in and familiarity with AI-powered design tools. Possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, autonomy, initiative, and adaptability to meet the dynamic business demands. Experience working within tight deadlines/ Good time management skills. Responsibilities and tasks for the job: Take instructions from customers directly and/or sales staff for complex photo design requirements. Graphic Design- effective completion of the design process from conception to printing. Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to the client and/or sales team member Consult with the client regarding design ideas and options, including colour, layout, size, recommending the best presentation for the client’s specifications and print materials. Accuracy when setting up files for print, ensuring all necessary specifications have been met. Recording/archiving designs for future use.
