About the Company A company with over 30 years of experience in the civil space in the Northern Territory is now looking for an experienced Civil Construction Manager to join their growing team in Darwin. We are looking for a capable Civil Construction Manager to supervise and handle their civil construction projects in the Darwin region. The chosen candidate will carry the responsibility of ensuring timely completion of projects within budget, while maintaining quality standards and adhering to all pertinent regulations and safety protocols. This is a pivotal role within the company, reporting directly to the General Manager. You will be in charge of growing the civil business. This role will also entail liaising with other managers within the business (Quarry, Concrete, and Transport). About the Role Oversee all aspects of civil construction projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, coordination, and quality control; Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation measures; Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal resource utilisation and cost efficiency; Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met; Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers; and Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle. About You: Degree in civil engineering/project management or a related field preferred by not essential; Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Civil Construction Manager, preferably in a similar capacity; and Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and construction methodologies.
