Tipper Truck Driver Roles & Responsibilities: Safe and efficient loading and unloading of material onto/from trucks by operating and controlling the lifting and tipping devices installed on the tipper truck. Conduct a thorough assessment of the loading and unloading site to identify potential hazards. Adhere to all relevant road safety regulations during the loading and unloading process. Carefully position the tipper truck at the loading or unloading site, considering factors such as available space, accessibility, and safety. Confirm that the information on the documents matches the actual goods being loaded onto the tipper truck. Thoroughly inspect the condition of the materials and obtain the recipient's signature to confirm the receipt of the goods in the specified condition. Arrange and stow the goods in the tipper truck's bed in a manner that ensures stability and prevents shifting during transit. Use appropriate equipment such as dividers, bins, or securing mechanisms to organize and secure the load to ensure that the goods remain in optimal condition throughout their storage and transportation journey. Keep truck and other company equipment in a clean and tidy state. Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the quality check of the tipper truck including tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels. Calculate the estimated weight of the materials to be transported Ensuring safe distribution like balance & restraint of loads in the tip tray compliance with transportation regulations and adhere to weight limits. Skills and Experience: Certificate III qualification is required. The candidate must have at least 2 years’ of relevant experience. Friendly, positive & approachable attitude. To be energetic & motivated. Must have a clean driving history The Candidate must hold the relevant license(s) Able to work under pressure. Salary Package: $65,000 - $80,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
