The Position To act as a contract administrator/superintendent to coordinate and manage the delivery of AlburyCity's capital infrastructure projects within the Project Delivery Team. Qualifications & experience Degree Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline Class C (standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain) Construction Induction Card Extensive Experience in civil construction project management including contract management, administration and supervision Tasks & responsibilities Plan, Organise, prepare and implement construction contracts to deliver AlburyCity's infrastructure projects on time, within budget and in line with AlburyCity's guidelines. Contribute to the delivery of Projects on time, within budget and quality standards including; Planning, maintaining, coordinating and monitoring construction budgets, programs and completion of activities. Preparing scope of works for tender. Evaluating tenders in accordance with AlburyCity's procurement policies and procedures. Ensuring works between AlburyCity's Contractors and Agents are coordinated with minimal interface disruptions. Recommending remedial action to contractors in cases of non-compliance to quality standards. Ensuring Contractor and Supplier manufacture and construction quality satisfies AlburyCity's requirements and standards. Ensure the satisfactory implementation of AlburyCity's project management system including; Managing technical documentation. Administering construction contracts including, assessing payment claims, variation claims, non-conformance reports, requests for information and undertaking dispute resolution. Engaging in inspection and verification activities on all Contractors and Suppliers. Coordinating meetings with Contractors and Suppliers. Manage communication lines between all internal and external stakeholders. Ensure Requests for Information are valid and take appropriate action to satisfy customer requests. Hours Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity’s RDO guidelines.
