About the role Reporting to the Manager, Network Platforms (with workload coordination and support and technical escalation to the Platform Leads) the Computing Platform Engineer is a Tier 2 role responsible for the resolution of incidents assigned to the Platforms Network team from the Service Desk. The role requires both excellent technical troubleshooting abilities, good communication skills and an ability to engage both with technical peers and customers in a supportive and collaborative fashion. A regular day will see you: Monitor Service Desk system for entries on network and communication resource issues; prioritize and respond to help desk tickets as appropriate. Coordinate and collaborate with other functional teams in the One Digital Innovation Program as required to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of corporate services to meet business demands. Contribute to strategies for network implementations and architecture. Provide cybersecurity support, respond to indicators of compromise, and ensure logging and metrics are available to the Security Operations Centre.
