Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include Provide expert technical advice and support for the management and operation of the NGR fleet. Review technical and operational documentation against the required standards and requirements for the modification and certification of the NGR fleet, ensuring alignment with established change management processes. Regular communication with internal and external stakeholders - acting as a point of liaison between Queensland Rail and the NGR fleet designer/maintainer. Audit rollingstock, carry out investigations and make recommendations to both Senior Management and Discipline Heads on the compliance of rollingstock against Queensland Rail specifications, standards, and relevant legislation. Perform asset inspections in line with established maintenance requirements. Support static and dynamic testing for the NGR fleet on an as required basis. For further details please click here to view the Position Description About you Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) Experience working in an electric passenger rollingstock maintenance and operational environment. Extensive knowledge of processes and standards associated with the RAMS asset lifecycle including design, implementation and maintenance such as EN50126. Demonstrated experience in providing technical support and advice to stakeholders. Understanding of Quality Assurance and investigative processes such as 8D, FRACAS and FMECA. Understanding of change management processes related to rollingstock modifications. Ability to communicate, consult, negotiate, and engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders and suppliers High level of skill in undertaking detailed technical investigations and preparing technical reports Sounds great, what's next?
