Superintendent Reliability Engineering Date: 17 May 2024 Location: PH FIFO, AU 4/3 days only roster | FIFO from Perth to Port Hedland Performance, Retention and Profit Share Bonuses Access to Qantas Points and Status Credits program Company contribution towards private health cover for employees and immediate family About the role: The Asset Management Team team is currently seeking a Superintendent Asset Management Port to join them on a 4:3 FIFO Roster based at Port Hedland. Reporting to the Manager Asset Management, you will be responsible for providing expertise and leadership to the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering team for Port and to implement the transition from 4 shuts to 3 shuts. This position will also manage the program of work to improve Roy Hill system shutdown performance from the Mine, Rail and Port through supporting operational teams and site based asset management team. Duties: Lead team of electrical and mechanical engineers and provide guidance and engineering support to Reliability Engineering at Port as required and implement the transition from 4 shuts to 3 shuts and the subsequent shut down improvement program to maximise mine to rail to port system value Develop a culture where a high value is placed upon conformance to plan, providing clear performance expectations to direct reports, establishing strong links with stakeholders Provide a conduit between operations personnel and external consultants in providing technical services Working closely with stakeholders on the plan and delivery of the priority work and assess assurance and long term improvement work Bringing authority and influence to the team and being able to leverage lessons learned from past experiences. Offering insights, recommendations, directions to ensure safe compliant and effective performance, evaluates and considers implications, demonstrates values, works collaboratively and takes initiative and ensures accountability.
