On Site & Office locations An exciting opportunity has become available or arisen for a Contract Administrator to join Sydney Water. Sydney Water’s infrastructure delivery requirements are expanding to meet the needs of the Greater Sydney Region. These large-scale, complex programs require exceptional people to help ensure the successful delivery of a significant, high-profile capital works program. Responsibilities: Support in the administration of contracts on the projects assigned to you. Support pricing reviews, contract re-negotiation, supplier performance reviews, and the resolution of supplier performance matters. Input into monthly reporting for allocated Major Projects. Support project risk review workshops and updating of the risk register where required. Assist project team in developing strategies for dealing with contractual issues and Compensation Events as they are raised. Consulting with Legal, Insurance & Compliance, and Project Controls to prepare the necessary documentation. Support the processing of final payment claims and issuing of any relevant contractual completion documentation. Experience and Qualifications: Contract and commercial management experience in construction and infrastructure projects in a large complex organisation, preferably in a similar organisation or industry sector. Relevant work experience for Tier 1 / Tier 2 contractor or client side is preferred but not essential. Experience in partnering with the business in effective contract and commercial management. High level of interpersonal and effective communication skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Professional MRICS or equivalent qualification NEC3 or NEC4 experience Essential Requirements: A relevant degree qualification (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Construction Law, or Engineering) or experience deemed equivalent You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of submitting your application to be considered for this role.
