Operating on a 4:3/4:3 or 4:2/4:4 roster, you'll spearhead pivotal mine infrastructure projects within the Bowen Basin, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to industry-leading standards. About the Role: As a Civil Project Engineer, you'll assume a central role in overseeing the relocation and management of surface infrastructure assets whilst reporting directly to the Project Manager. Key Duties: Develop and implement high voltage switching programs, isolations, and permits. Perform maintenance and testing of HV and LV switchgear, cabling, and transformers. Conduct secondary injection and testing of protection relays. Lead fault diagnosis and recovery efforts. Champion safety protocols and drive project achievements within budgetary confines. Manage project elements and provide ongoing progress reports. Collaborate with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure project success. Devise innovative solutions for project challenges as they arise. Education, Skills & Experience: Background in heavy industry, with expertise in civil engineering within a mining operation. Hold academic credentials in Civil Engineering from a reputable institution. Possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership proficiencies. Ability to cultivate a positive, high-performing work environment. Exhibit exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
