Not to mention the birthday and employee anniversary celebration cakes and BBQs About the role We are searching for an Waste Pump Truck Driver to join our team in the Greater Western Sydney area. As the Kennards Hire representative to our customers, we support you with the training and development you need to be successful in your role. The Waste Pump Truck Driver is the critical link between a Kennards Hire branch, our customers and their projects, big or small. You'll be in charge of everything that makes our customers' job easy; expert advice, pickups, deliveries and making sure our equipment is ready for hire. This role requires you to; Drive a MR Truck fitted with a toilet servicing tank Servicing toilets including using a hose to pump out effluent from toilets, cleaning and sanitising the toilets, replenishing the toilets with fresh water, and refilling consumables such as toilet paper Completing a time sensitive toilet cleaning schedule for an allocated run Completion of required paperwork including pre-start checklists Driving between numerous worksites each day Safely load and unload of portable toilets Provide exceptional customer service in all customer interactions Commitment to maintaining clean and safe work method practices Maintain vehicle, tank and pump setup and to manage stock on board the truck. About you Successful applicants have come from various backgrounds such as; Customer service, building & construction, hospitality, retail, driver, landscaping, trade & maintenance. A current HR Manual driver's licence The availability to work Saturdays on a rotating roster This role requires some physical components including lifting and standing on your feet for long periods. A level of physical fitness is required and the ability to pass a drug test Strong communication skills Be proactive and keen to learn new skills An interest in machinery and equipment, although training will be provided A positive attitude and team player Ability to work well unsupervised and within a team and complete tasks in a timely manner Please note during the interview process you will need to provide a copy of your driving record Why join the family We are Australia and New Zealand's largest family-owned equipment hire company.
