They are looking for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to lead their Sydney team. ABOUT THE POSITION As a Chartered Principal Geotechnical Engineer, you will lead your own team, build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, and ensure that projects are delivered on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in geotechnical engineering, extensive knowledge of project planning and delivery, and preferably minimum of 10 years of experience. DUTIES Lead a team of engineers in the planning, design and executions of projects Produce financial reports and forecasts Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure project delivery Mentor, train, and develop junior team members Provide technical advice and solutions to clients, team, and stakeholders Conduct geotechnical assessments, feasibility studies, and risk assessments SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering. Leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and mentor junior engineers. Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team and client liaising Proven experience conducting geotechnical investigations and writing reports Working knowledge of Quality & OH&S Management systems to meet the relevant regulatory requirements CULTURE Due to the company's energetic, fun, and collaborative culture, the business has high employee retention.
