Responsibilities: Manage and configure VMware server and VDI virtualized environments (vCenter, ESXi, Horizon) for optimal performance. Deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Operating Systems and services including Server (2016, 2019, 2022), SQL (2016, 2017, 2019), and Active Directory (DS, DNS, DHCP). Respond to alerts and incidents from monitoring and cybersecurity systems (PRTG, Splunk, LogInsight, CheckPoint, Azure). Provide mentorship and guidance to the Service Desk team, assisting in the training of new technologies and troubleshooting techniques. Offer 1st level support coverage for the IT Service Desk as needed. Assist in training Service Desk analysts on new technologies and troubleshooting techniques. Skills: Experience in managing Microsoft environments including Active Directory (DS, DNS, DHCP), Office 365, and Azure AD. Providing Level 2/3 technical assistance to end-users by resolving escalated issues related to hardware, software, and applications. Contribute to the development of the internal knowledge base, empowering Service Desk agents to handle common issues. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the IT support workflow. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
