Qualified or time-served engineer, with experience in drafting or product design, data management, systems engineering methodologies & manufacturing. Client: Specialist Engineering Company with a strong focus on developing leading-edge technology and large industrial equipment. Employing more than 500 across Australia they are looking to hire an enthusiastic, proactive, and results-driven Engineering Analyst. Responsibilities include: The job would suit an individual who finds it easy to build relationships with other team members, as you will play a critical role within the Engineering Drawing Office. Work closely with the Drawing Office, Engineers, and Project Leads to manage and coordinate engineering design projects. Manage product technical data (PDM). Update the Product Data Management system, daily, weekly, and monthly. Ensure all designs and BOMs are stored safely and securely before being submitted to other departments and or external stakeholders. Control and maintain Bill of Materials within the ERP system. Oversee configuration and requirements for product compliance. Track and report project progress updating the team to reflect the plan/schedule. Audit Engineering Project Documentation. Maintain SOPs and flowcharts, leading to improvement within their ERP & MRP master data for their products. Room to progress within the role and build a team focussing on work cells within production, and material flow requirements using lean methodology. DFMEA and PFMEA support. To be a successful fit for this full-time/permanent role, you will have: Strong attention to detail with data logging and unloading (engineering designs, compiling engineering packages, dealing with in-house teams and external stakeholders). Experience within a similar role. Knowledge of a Product Data Management System. Excellent communicator, high level of EI, and a leader.
