Embark on a rewarding career within the technology industry Client side Data Centre operator in Adelaide $110k - $115k plus super (Monday to Friday day time) Overview: MCR are seeking a facilities technician to join a growing team onsite a data centre in Adelaide. As a facilities technician, your main duties will be to make sure the Data Centre is maintained to the highest technical and security standards. You will play a crucial and integral role in the maintenance and upkeep of the facility infrastructure and respond to any incidents related to the critical facility. You will come from a strong electrical or mechanical background with previous experience working in a critical environment. The role: As part of the facilities team your role will be paramount to ensuring the continued uptime of this mission-critical facility Assisting in the maintenance, efficiency and reliability of a large and technically complex data centre facility Monday to Friday day time role Duties & key responsibilities: Fault finding Responding to alarms Managing contractors Adhering to SOPS, MOPS and change management protocols Incident reporting and documentation Requirements: Australian Citizenship is essential for security clearance Trade qualified in electrical or HVAC or equivalent tertiary qualified Experience working in a critical environment with equipment such as generators, UPS, air handling units, CRAC units etc Excellent communication skills Ability to lead with good communication skills Strong understanding of compliance Good computer and written skills - reporting is required Team player with a can do attitude If you feel that you meet the above criteria, then please submit your application for immediate consideration.
