Based in West Perth or Balcatta, this role forms part of our Marine Asset Integrity (MAI) area, which will give you solid fundamental knowledge and exposure to projects in our Subsea Inspection, Repair, Maintenance (IRM) and Marine Operations portion of the business. The Opportunity This role forms part of our 12-week paid summer Vacation Program, that runs between November 2024 - February 2025. As a Vacation Student - Design Engineer, we have two areas where you could be involved in: Option 1: Remote Operations, located in Balcatta, where you would support our teams with: Assisting with design of ROVs (remote operated vehicles), subsea cameras, control systems, etc. (inc. software, electronics, etc.) 3D modelling and design of ROV and ROV tooling components Assisting project engineers on remote operations projects Option 2 : Project Design/Structural Engineering Design, located in West Perth, where you would support our teams with: Design of steel structures, subsea installation aids, or similar Performing design calculations Assisting projecting engineering team as required About You We are interested in taking applicants from the following courses.
