Job Description As the Director of Sales and Marketing you will be… Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for: Executing Sales strategies for the Hotel across all market segments. Have a complete understanding of the Hotel sales vision; its products, services, and rate structure to fulfill business objectives. Actively sell all attributes of the Hotel including Conference facilities and Food and Beverage features. Work collaboratively with the Director of Revenue to ensure room night and revenue targets are appropriately supported. Develop a strategic plan for identifying major accounts and business opportunities. Review weekly forecasts and market share reports and actively participate in ensuring business levels and market share is maintained. Ensure the team is maximising hotel revenue through effective pricing, space management and conversion, therefore increasing revenue in the key segments that generate the highest yield. Ensure maximisation of revenue from Conference & Incentive segments by promoting the Hotel’s Food and Beverage outlets. Establish a high profile across the region and with key accounts. Lead a dynamic team of professionals.
