Your New Role: As a Senior Financial Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you'll lead financial control, consolidation, and strategic business partnering initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: Collaborate on balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Manage Dynamics 365 retail transactions, including master data oversight and worker setup. Lead quarterly stocktake planning, variance analysis, and summary preparation. Support retail and ecommerce teams with Dax inquiries, costing runs, and sales postings. Handle wholesale customer credit, vendor approval, and invoice maintenance in SAP. Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts, reconcile cash regularly, and ensure financial accuracy. Take responsibility for sales and inventory postings in AU & NZ, aligning with GAAP and policies. Prepare statutory reporting, manage tax compliance (FBT, GST, BAS), and report financial controls. Drive finance function compliance, assist in audits, and run monthly close processes. Support the Finance Manager in dynamic forecasting, budget preparation, and process improvement. The Checklist: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CA/CPA qualification preferred. Ideally 2 years experience in a financial accounting position. Strong knowledge of FBT, GST, and reconciliation processes. Proficient in Excel with strong reconciliation skills. Accounting experience within the retail industry is highly desirable. Exposure to SAP or any large ERP system is highly desirable as well as Dynamics 365. Experience working in a Global Corporate business with upward reporting preferred. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in conjunction with strong communication skills. What’s Next?
