The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising the construction of interiors to meet the specific needs of our clients. From concept development to project completion, you will play a pivotal role in transforming spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to understand project objectives, concerns and limitations, ensuring alignment with design briefs. Utilise various mediums such as sketches, renderings, mood boards, and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts and garner client feedback. Conduct thorough research and analysis of spatial, functional, efficiency, safety, and aesthetic requirements to inform design decisions. Select, specify, and recommend functional and aesthetic materials, furniture, and products that align with project requirements and design intent. Develop innovative design concepts that optimize space utilization, promote efficient workflows, and create inspiring environments tailored to each project's purpose. Engage in constructive negotiations with clients, management, and suppliers to reach mutually beneficial design solutions. Detail and document selected designs for construction while supervising the construction process to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field, or five years of relevant work experience Proven experience in interior design, preferably in commercial, industrial, retail, or residential projects. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong creative vision and attention to detail Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
