Queensland Rail has a fixed term contract available to October 2025 for Electrical Engineer within our Citytrain Rollingstock Maintenance Engineering team. Providing expertise and trade staff support to resolve complex issues and failures. Developing and implementing innovative strategies to optimise fleet performance. Collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with standards and practices. Conducting inspections, audits, and risk assessments to safe work practices. Analysing performance data and implementing reliability cantered maintenance. Electrical Engineer – minimum 1 or more years of work experience in electrical engineering. All previous work experience is relevant, it is not required that you have rollingstock experience. Strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Bachelor’s degree must be either issued from an accredited Australian University or Queensland Rail accepted equivalent that is recognised/assessed by Engineers Australia, the national professional body for engineers in Australia.
