Due to continued growth NRW Civil and Mining have opportunities for experienced Site Engineers to join the team at our newest civil projects. The successful candidates will have an extensive background working within the civil industry and assist with delivering the projects to a successful completion. To be considered for the positions you must possess the following as a minimum: Quality audit experience within the civil sector Tertiary degree in Engineering or a similar relevant degree Previous working experience as a Site Engineer working within the civil industry Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel MS Project/Primavera P6 software experience or equivalent Current Australian Drivers Licence As a Site Engineer reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to: Scheduling preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to the project Auditing and traffic management performance Managing performance of subcontractors Reviewing all works are conducted as per project quality assurance requirements Ensuring accuracy of financial forecasts in relation to project schedules Reviewing NRW systems and practices to improve efficiency Ensuring projects are completed according to approved plans Preparing, coordinating and monitoring assigned engineering tasks Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications Liaising daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements Providing assistance to Project Engineers and site team with technical issues to gain approval for design changes About the Opportunity: 2/1 rosters on offer Excellent salary, conditions and benefits Long term employment prospects Employee Assistance Program (EAP) available for yourself and your immediate family Income Protection Insurance Range of corporate discounts including private health insurance, membership options and retail discounts Extensive salary sacrifice options including novated vehicle leasing Paid Parental Leave NRW is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we strongly support diversity in our workforce.
