About the role: We are looking for experienced Support Workers who believe in second chances, and are passionate about supporting forensic clients to re-integrate back into the community. You will be providing 1:1 assistance in daily living skills in our newly established SIL accommodation in Tarneit, Victoria. Please note, due to the client group we are only seeking male applicants for this position. Minimum 1 years experience within the disability, community services or similar in assisting clients from forensic background. Experience working with clients having Alzheimer's disease/ AOD/ Mental health disabilities etc. Demonstrated experience supporting challenging behaviours (highly valued) Willingness to support clients with personal care, medications, community access, meal preparation, domestic chores and mealtime assistance. Certificate III or above in Disability Support or similar Must be available to work 20 hours per week and able to work a rotating roster including sleepover shifts & active nights.
