Read on for info on this role $0 - $0 a year What you will do Brighte's Legal team exists to provide innovative legal services that fast track Brighte to making every home sustainable. We're looking for another Lawyer to join us on this mission - someone who will work with us and contribute to our vision to be the most commercial, agile and value adding legal function in the tech ecosystem. You'll be part of a team that services the whole business which may include contract reviews and drafting, training for the business, supporting debt capital and fundraising activities, consumer and competition advisory and governance and board support. You'll be a trusted advisor to Brighte's internal and external stakeholders, partnering closely with people within the company and externally to understand their needs and deliver to help them achieve their goals Assist the business to identify new projects that add value and work together to advise on how to make them happen. Please note this is a 6-month fixed-term contract, with a possibility of extension. What you will bring Tertiary qualifications in Law and admitted as a legal practitioner holding a NSW legal practising certificate as a corporate legal practitioner. 4 years PQE You have a strong commercial contracts background, ideally with competition law experience. You are a different kind of lawyer - you want to get your hands into business, working with stakeholders directly and creating value for a company. You're commercial in the way you look at and advise on the law. You're a team player and will fit in seamlessly with our growing team who work both autonomously and collaboratively across various projects so you're self driven with high initiative and independence, as well as being comfortable working across a team and cross functionally You have a bias for action, a curious mind - always questioning, innovating, and taking initiative. All the normal things that lawyers are great at also apply: communication and interpersonal skills are stellar, you have a detail-oriented mindset but also see the big picture.
