We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join their team in Caringbah NSW 2229. This is a great opportunity where hard work will be awarded. Duties and Responsibilities Examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces and laying out work. Comprehensive maintenance services to keep your flooring in pristine condition. Preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces. Professional installation services that ensure your carpets are fitted to perfection, enhancing both the look and functionality of your space. Consultation services to help you choose the best materials and designs for your specific application. Spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles and setting tiles in position. Using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes. Ensuring tiles are correctly aligned and spaced. Mixing, applying and spreading various adhesives types such as, cement based, flexible adhesives, mastics and even 2 part epoxy on certain projects. Grouting tiles, and cleaning and removing excess grout. Applying waterproofing systems. Maintenance work such as removing and replacing cracked or damaged tiles Requirements Relevant qualifications A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
