Due to ongoing work and a strong pipeline of work, our client is seeking to expand their estimation team. Role and Responsibility's Receive tenders and assess them for the organisation's viability. Get in touch with current or prospective clients if more information is needed. Evaluate and finish takeoffs from blueprints or drawings. Find suppliers or subcontractors and bargain with them about service prices. Participate in stakeholder pre- and post-tender meetings, as well as site visits. Examine bids and the estimate procedure to offer economical options. What you need to be a successful candidate Civil/construction estimating experience. Expert with Microsoft Office Suite; mostly with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project. Excellent understanding of technical data analysis, specification estimation, and metrics analysis. Self-assured in interpreting project plans, drawings and specifications. Capacity to read work scopes and prepare tenders in an integrated manner.
