The Role: Reporting directly to the Directors, you'll lead the finance function, ensuring robust controls, governance, and precise reporting to facilitate strategic decision making. As a vital team member, you'll spearhead financial initiatives, driving business performance. Your primary responsibilities include: Preparation and analysis of monthly management reports Review and report on revenue and cost objectives Preparation and analysis of cash flow and financial forecasts Analysis and commentary of financial variances Prepare BAS, FBT and statutory returns, including the analysis and reconciliation of G/L Monitor and ensure accuracy of commissions Manage a small Fixed Asset Register Oversee WorkCover assessments and claims Prepare Insurance information for annual renewals Minimising outstanding debt, payroll and expense claims Prepare the annual budget Complete statutory accounts and audit Manage relationships with external auditors, tax accountant, ATO, banking & insurance partners Contribute to business improvement and identification of areas for profit improvement The Candidate: CPA or CA qualification Sound technical skills and commercial acumen Strong communication skills, managing external relationships with confidence Innovative thinking, with a knack for thinking outside the box Ideally from the hospitality, retail, or recruitment industry Proficiency in Advanced Excel and familiarity with Xero considered advantageous The Benefits: Competitive Salary: $120k Super Pro Rata Convenient Parramatta Location Dynamic work environment Hybrid opportunities Option to work school hours or a three day work week Opportunity to join a supportive, high-performing team Time off for your birthday and work anniversary Time off over the Christmas period To apply online please click on the appropriate link and send your resume in WORD format.
