We are seeking a talented HVAC Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. Job Description: The HVAC Design Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing HVAC systems for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial applications. This position requires a deep understanding of thermal zoning, heat calculations, ventilation rates, and population considerations for amenities and warehouse ventilation. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop HVAC systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct thermal zoning and heat calculations to ensure optimal system performance. Calculate ventilation rates and design ventilation systems to meet project requirements. Consider population density and specific needs for amenities and warehouse ventilation. Utilize Camel and BlueBeam software, along with in-house templates, for design and documentation purposes. Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver tailored HVAC solutions. Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure designs are energy-efficient and sustainable. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 3 to 5 years of experience in HVAC design. Proficiency in thermal zoning, heat calculations, and ventilation rate calculations. Experience with designing ventilation systems for various types of facilities, including amenities and warehouses. Strong knowledge of Camel and BlueBeam software. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to travel across Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales as required.
