The Role The Reliability Engineer will assist in leading the reliability functionality. More specifically, this position will therefore be responsible for supporting operations in improving asset reliability and plant performance. Critical to the role is the identification and elimination of top losses associated with asset reliability and root-cause with the implementation of measures to avoid reoccurrence. Accelerate the pace of implementation of current and future reliability/OEE improvement programs Identification of the current pain points and developing remediation strategies Further develop and refine strategies towards a predictive maintenance environment Improve uptime and lower maintenance cost by maintaining assets optimally in the maintenance life cycle Building and asset life extension program Research, scope and implement predictive and prescriptive tools to reduce human intervention Skills & Experience: Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related area is essential Extensive experience working in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods environment (3 years) Knowledge of MEX, population, review and improvement High level of computer literacy and ability to analyse data Broad understanding of Workplace Health and Safety Ability to work autonomously and can prioritise work Effective negotiation and influencing skills A track record of delivering accurate information and reliability improvements based on structured analysis For More Information Here at Miller Leith we are open to having a conversation about your next career move.
