This role is responsible for performing various administrative and support services and fostering a safe, secure, and healthy living environment for all students. Based in the accommodation office the role will manage first impressions and will also perform perimeter checks, manage in-house quiet hours, attend to emergencies and lockouts, and/or any other matters that may arise during the night. The Night Manager will ensure smooth running of all other property operations in the absence of Senior Management. If you are someone that thrives in an afterhours role, and you have the confidence to manage first impressions on the front desk, perform perimeter checks, attend to emergencies and lockouts, and any other matters that require attention across the property this may be the role for you. The successful applicant must be available to work Saturday and Sunday night rotating shifts between 1730 - 0900 (15.2 Hours per week). During your shift, you will oversee all overnight operations ensuring residents receive a consistent exceptional experience. As a Night Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Act as a “Mentor” to the residents to form a friendly and open point of contact for assistance, information, and welfare. Assist the Management team with grievances and conflict resolution as required. Respond to residents calls about noise or disturbances within the building. Responding to residents locked out of the building and/or apartments. Represent an after-hours management taking full responsibility of the building operations. Manage, record, and promptly resolve issues or emergencies that arise while on duty. Complete all back-office or front-office duties as handed over by the day team.
