Our client specializes in defense, mining, civil, and residential projects. With a large number of current projects and more in the pipeline the client is looking to expand their team. After securing a several projects locally in Mackay along with multiple scopes of work with a Coal Mining client, they are looking to hire x2 Project Engineers. With a proven reputation for career development and long-term security, this is the role that will help you achieve your career goals . In securing this position, you will get the opportunity to work with a proven project delivery team and Project Manager as you help and watch this project come to life and fruition. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including logs, records, and reports. Monitor project expenditures and manage budgets. Ensure all project activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication. Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure that work meets specified standards. Monitor project progress and implement changes as necessary to stay on track. Key Requirements: 2-4 years of Civil Engineering experience. Proven experience as a Site or Project Engineer or in a similar supervisory role in the civil construction industry. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. Chartered status with Engineers Australia (CPEng) or the ability to obtain it. Coal mining experience is desireable for mining role. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
