The Role We are seeking a Graduate Engineer to provide support for the construction and delivery of the BlueScope project in Port Kembla. Permanent, full-time role with standard construction site hours. The Project Manager will provide support to this role, which involves closely collaborating with on-site personnel to ensure timely project delivery and high-quality work. Training will be provided as necessary. In addition to working with a skilled and efficient team, the selected candidate will have continuous project exposure, facilitating the further development of technical and project management skills. Exceptional performance will create opportunities for career advancement into Site Engineer positions. NO FIFO. Works will include: Demolition and repair of wharf deck Front service duct (FSD) removal using a combination of hydro-demolition and wire sawing, FSD replacement Impressed current cathodic protection system to be implemented FSD formwork and concrete pour method Adding to the existing wharf with a berth extension Key Responsibilities: Review of project specifications and preparation of related QA-QC documentation including Inspection Test Plans, Field Inspection Records, MDR etc Develop & maintain project documentation Undertake site inspections to ensure compliance to specifications Procurement support including Subcontract / Supplier QA-QC management Support Site Management team as required Ensure project compliance to the contract requirements and project budget The successful applicant will ideally have: Degree in Civil Engineering Some experience or exposure to structural and civil works is desirable A demonstrated commitment to safety Excellent communication and organisational skills Well-developed computer skills About Us SRG Global is a diversified industrial services company.
