Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health. The Role: We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers to partner with a male participant based in South Grafton, NSW. Our participant recently sustained a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and has lost lower limb & some upper limb movement. The current care plan in place requires 2:1 support, 7 x days a week. There are Morning shifts available. The hours include: The Morning shift hours will be (7:00am - 9:00am) Due the complexity of the participant, successful candidates must have experience with Spinal Cord Injuries, hoisting and personal care Pay Rates: Day - $40.00 per hour Saturday - $56.00 per hour Sunday - $72.00 per hour Key Responsibilities: Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning & meal preparation Assistance with personal care Hoisting (full hoist/sling hoist) Manual handling Completing skin checks Stoma care Catheter care Skills & Experiences: Reliable, proactive and positive attitude NDIS Effective Communication Module Current National Police Clearance NDIS Worker Orientation Module Current NDIS Screening check First Aid & CPR Certificate Australian Driver Licence Current WWCC Please note: two current references are required If you meet the above criteria and are interested in the role, hit the "Apply" button now.
