Azure Databricks ETL Data Engineer / Data Modeler - Azure Databricks, Python, Delta Lake, PySpark Data Developer - $1100 to $1221 per day - Mostly WFH $1100 to $1221 per day Mostly WFH – Couple of Days per fortnight in office (candidates must be in NSW) Contract to September 2024 Data Analytics Transformation Program Brand-new Cloud Transformation; EndUser Organization; Working with a well-known enduser organisation, this position is predominantly focused on the backend of data integration and data manipulation for data analytics and reporting purposes. Data is extracted from multiple sources such as Oracle / Excel, stored in Data Lake repository, retrieved and modelled using Databricks and Python / Spark toolsets and libraries for Data Analytics and reporting purposes. You will have demonstrated experience in modelling data for Data Analytics within cloud environments. You will also have detailed hands-on experience with Data Lake storage repository, Data bricks toolsets within Azure cloud environment as well as development using SQL / Python / Spark scripting and data development libraries. Essential skills (must be precisely demonstrated using bullet points under each relevant position): Hands on Data Engineering and Data Development using Databricks toolsets for ETL / Data Integration purposes within Microsoft Azure cloud environment; Recent data development, optimisation and manipulation experience using Python / PySpark libraries or SQL as a minimum (PySpak scripting is highly desirable); Strong demonstrated understanding of Data Lakes and/or Delta Lakes storage repository within Azure Cloud environments; Demonstrated data modeling skills for analytics purposes within Azure environment; Great communications skills both written and verbal.
