UGL are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for a number of roles for enthusiastic and motivated individuals. Opportunities include: Rail Traction Superintendents Rail Traction Supervisors Rail Traction Linesman Leading Hand Rail Traction Linesman Rail Traction Linesman Leading Hand OHW Senior Engineer OHW Project Engineer We are Open to offering sponsorship to international candidates who can demonstrate experience in the above. Reporting to the Overhead Sector Lead, roles will support our RTS business in maintenance and construction of Rail infrastructure, also opportunities to support our other UGL divisions with larger and more complex projects. Works will be predominantly based Sydney, WA, & Brisbane but also interstate as required as well as weekend works. Key responsibilities include. Implementing UGL's Critical Risk Controls Managing & Supervising of OHW Staff Supervise all site activities allocated to construction team members, ensuring safe working practices in accordance with client safety systems and processes. Attending respective site and project coordination meetings. Support the program deliverables , monitor, and report productivity. Allocating Labour & Plant resources as per projects requirements Provide input into the estimate of 'costs of construction' for allocated projects in terms of labor, materials and costs. Installation of OHW Foundations. Installation of OHW Masts & Portals Pre- assembly, OHW equipment Installation of OHW equipment Installation of OHW Catenary and Contact conductors. Removal of redundant OHW infrastructure Quality assurance checks. We are looking for several skilled individuals who have extensive OHW experience in both 25Kv, need to have good communication skills and who embody UGL values. Some of the skills we are seeking include. Trade Qualified Certificate in Rail Traction Trade Qualified distribution, Transmission, Linesworker Experience in Managing and supervising construction teams Sound approach to safety Attention to detail.
