You will be accountable for managing operational teams in the delivery and support of Coles' technology strategy. This role will suit someone focused on delivering quality technology outcomes at pace, those who enjoy a dynamic team environment, engaging with multiple teams, stakeholders, vendors and delivery partners. About the role As a Senior Engineer you provide technical expertise in the area of Payroll specifically within the SAP SuccessFactors ECP module. You will liaise and coordinate with technology teams and with other teams across the Coles Payroll ecosystem to ensure delivery of projects and resolution of incidents. You will be certified and experienced in implementing SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll with the ability to analyse complex payroll requirements and design appropriate solutions. You are Proficient in SAP Payroll Process tools, such as the Payroll Control Centre (PCC) and have In-depth knowledge of the SAP ECP module, including configuration, schema, and rules. A key requirement for this role is Australian payroll experience specifically with processes, tax regulations and compliance requirements. You will be accountable for ensuring work produced follows standards and best practice methodologies and be responsible in scoping, estimation, build and delivery of projects and changes. You will be required to participate in stakeholder discussions to identify business needs and develop technical requirements as well as drilling down into technical issues to solve complex and detailed problems. You are able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and work closely with both on and offshore teams. Your analytical and problem resolution skills are exceptional with a strong understanding of incident and problem management. You will be required to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for both configuration and processes and have strong experience with integration technologies in both on-prem and Cloud technologies. About you and your skills A mandatory requirement for this role is SAP SuccessFactors ECP experience and certification and deep Australian payroll experience. 5 years experience in SAP ECP across multiple project implementations Experience working in complex system architectures, operations and support structures in an organisation with multiple or large-scale payrolls. Experience in the design, configuration and customisation of SAP ECP module to meet business requirements. Understand testing frameworks and lifecycles. Have experience in delivering payroll-related projects, including system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations. Strong understanding of Australian payroll processes, tax regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to drill down into technical issues and solve complex and detailed problems. Strong experience with integration technologies in on-prem and Cloud technologies Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
