This role plays a pivotal role in supporting our dealership, customers and key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the Fuso Truck and Bus brand is a key player in the transport industry for years to come. The role: Reporting to the Head of Product and Homologation, your key responsibilities will include: Provide technical support including data codes, bills of material, vehicle specifications, chassis weights, drilling information, key codes, driveline angles and various other sales engineering requests Support new product development including development of application guidelines, provision of ADR certification data and development of data packages for body builders Assist in the preparation and review of the spec sheets and data books Develop technical point of sale material to assist in the sales process Responsibility for local designs in support of truck modifications. Provide engineering drawings to support customers, dealers and sales staff Support VPC with local engineering releases and work instructions Determine suitable ratings and provide letters for dealers and customers for vehicle performance based standards, ratings, road friendly suspension, front underrun devises, speed limiters and NT registration Assist with applications to Federal and State authorities as required to obtain approval and documentation for products requiring access / special permits Support dealers in using Trailer Win and provide a service support function to the network for operation issues Qualifications Who we are looking for: To be successful in this role you will be a self-motivated leader with the ability to bring teams together and provide direction, influencing outcomes and fostering positive relationships. You will have a professional attitude and tactful approach demonstrated through your exceptional communication and presentation skills to both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate must have extensive light, medium or heavy commercial vehicle product experience in engineering or manufacturing environment. You will have exceptional organisational and analytical skills, advanced administration skills and the ability to handle complex structures and systems. A passion and deep technical knowledge of automotive systems will be highly favourable in the selection process. Furthermore, knowledge and experience with how the commercial vehicle industry operates is highly valuable. You will be confident in making decisions and providing technical support, with an ability to study, analyse and interpret specifications from engineering documents and reports in order to assist any product enquiry that may arise. Your strong project management skills, presentation and negotiation skills will ensure your success in this position. It is essential that you hold tertiary qualifications in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering. You will be a true professional and have excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills to deal with a wide range of high profile customers and stakeholders. Your strong communication skills, analytical thinking and results-oriented mindset, along with a good understanding of our product line will lead to success in this unique role.
