AO6 Project Administrator/ Coordinator (office fit-outs, refurbishments & minor works ) AO6 Project Administrator/ Coordinator (office fit-outs, refurbishments & minor works) ASAP start – 6 month contract (possible extension/ opportunity to go permanent) $71.67 – 76.53 per hour Super (Agency Contractor) Full time, 7.25hrs per day Work from home flexible – (3 days in, 2 days out) Brisbane City Office, some travel involved (project site visits) About: I am excited to announce I have partnered up with one of our great State government clients who due to their program workload are now looking for an experienced Project Administrator/Coordinator (office fit-outs, refurbishments & minor works) to join their team. They are looking for a vibrant, passionate and hardworking individual who can hit the ground running to not only manage the current projects in progress but also upcoming projects in the program as well. Your Opportunity: As the Project Administrator/Coordinator, you will: Coordinate the implementation of projects to ensure consistency with organisational strategy, commitment and goals are achieved within capital works projects mainly in the leasing space. Contribute to building a positive brand by being a great representative for this team across the state. Use your strong knowledge of project structure to be proactive and a forward thinker to keep the client on tract by working multiple projects (ranging from 10k to 1.5million) at the same time and coordinate their work across the state. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers as this is a customer facing role. Key Responsibilities: Refurbishments Relocations Minor works Understanding of lease documentation Coordinating multiple projects across a diverse region Financial project planning Ensure compliance with Building Code of Australia, Building Regulations, WHS Act, and other laws. Manage preventive maintenance, including statutory and non-statutory tasks, on schedule. Oversee property contracts and obligations for specific sites. Oversee Capital Works projects to meet standards. Maintain financial data Generate property reports on maintenance and costs. Implement and maintain property management policies and protocols. Ensure compliance with portfolio-related policies and processes. Strong communication management. Overseeing leasing and lease renewals Attributes/skills we’re looking for: Demonstrated planning, project management, analytical and conceptual skills in order to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure project outcomes are achieved. Displays flexibility and responsiveness and has the initiative, positive attitude, and ability to thrive within a dynamic, challenging and changing environment. Demonstrated ability to coordinate team activities to achieve successful outcomes within strict deadlines. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral) including demonstrated ability to drive engagement, consultation and negotiation with diverse stakeholder groups both internal and external. Strong administration abilities and confident with building Excel spreadsheets. Additional Information: You may be required to travel and work across the region. Travel and overnight absences from base may be required of this position. It would be highly desirable for the incumbent to possess a current driver’s licence.
