The Role Toll People are currently seeking drivers looking for flexible working hours as HC/MC truck drivers, based in Port Kembla. Our client wants to provide an opportunity to train and upgrade drivers from HR to HC, or HC to MC and work with flexible hours across a variety of shifts - morning/day/afternoon/nights. We are looking for a long-term commitment which in turn gives an opportunity for you to train, upgrade and work within a highly diversified transportation and logistics company. All drivers will be expected to have a strong focus on safety, compliance and to make deliveries in a safe and timely manner. Experience with load restraint and/or steel is advantageous but not essential. Delivery runs are within the Illawarra region. Key responsibilities Delivery of steel products within the Illawarra region and into Sydney Carry out all duties within set time frames and following all instructions Ensure correct, secure and safe loading of vehicles Complete and supply mandatory run sheet information in the format required Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times Comply with all WHS regulations and driving hour legislation Skills & Experience HR licence (willing to upgrade to HC with training) HC licence (willing to upgrade to MC with training) Ability to work a flexible roster, suited to your availability Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and good numeracy skills Toll Group is a gender diverse organisation and strongly encourage women to apply.
