You will provide timely and accurate information, advice and service to both internal and external clients of the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies. Your communication skills are exceptional as you will need to answer student enquiries, liaise with academics and both explain and understand compliance requirements. You will also participate as an effective and flexible member of the team and contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement through assisting with streamlining processes, communication lines and support services, and participating in key RMIT forums as required. Overall, you have a diplomatic approach when working with stakeholders and your contribution to your team is invaluable. To be successful in this position, you'll have: Demonstrated experience and expertise in the provision of quality customer service, including sound knowledge and consistent application of relevant University policy and procedures and the ability to appropriate provide advice. Well-developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take the initiative in identifying and pursuing opportunities to improve existing practices and services. Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with a wide range of groups, both internal and external to the University. Demonstrated high level of computer literacy including word processing; presentation software; email; internet and electronic document management applications. Proven ability to work effectively as a flexible team member committed to achieving own and work team goals and priorities, and to continuous improvement.
