Opportunity to work for one of Australia's leading Big 4 banks, who are committed to delivering innovative financial solutions and setting industry standards. As part of a new program of delivery, they are building a new capability focused on regulatory audit response and enhancing controls around validating rates in trading. We are seeking an experienced Senior Front End Engineer to join the program through a boutique Sydney consultancy. Role Overview: As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of our new capability, ensuring that our trading processes align with relevant regulatory controls. You will collaborate closely with our UI team and leverage your expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and other relevant technologies to build robust and user-friendly interfaces. Additionally, you will work on micro frontend delivery, integrate data visualization components, manage inception, and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency. Day to day you will be: Develop front end solutions using Angular and TypeScript to support regulatory audit response and trading rate validation processes. Collaborate with the UI team to design and implement intuitive user interfaces for trade analytics, compliance, and regulatory reporting. Implement micro frontend delivery strategies to enhance modularity and scalability. Integrate data visualization components to provide actionable insights for decision-makers. Manage project inception, including requirements gathering, scoping, and planning. Streamline workflow processes and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution. Work closely with stakeholders to understand regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in trading activities. You skills and experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Extensive experience in front end development, with a focus on Angular and TypeScript. AWS cloud experience Solid understanding of financial services, particularly in trading, commodities, pre-trade, and post-trade activities. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and reporting requirements in the financial services industry. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Experience with trade analytics, economics, and compliance is highly desirable.
